The Force Of APOLLO Is With VWS – RWM Stand 5A150
The market leader in onboard vehicle weighing, wheeled bin-weighing and load protection systems, Vehicle Weighing Solutions (VWS), is returning to RWM this year with a brand new product range – APOLLO – the next generation of in-motion and static axle-by-axle weighing.
Julian Glasspole, Managing Director, VWS said: “The accuracy of our APOLLO Axle Weighing System is hard to beat plus it is easy to install and cost effective. We are looking forward to showing RWM visitors this exciting new range of products.”
The APOLLO Portable Axle Weighbridge is a quick and easy to use system to weigh a vehicle in seconds, so no fleet delays. Accurate to within 2% it can weigh any vehicle up to 30,000kg per axle and with up to 16 axles.
APOLLO FIXED, the Low Speed Weigh-In-Motion or Static Axle by Axle System is a low cost, high spec axle and gross vehicle weigher that can be used either as a static axle weighbridge or dynamic “In-Motion” low speed weighing.
All the systems can be linked to a database facility so that vehicle registrations can be stored against vehicle types to ensure vehicles are compliant with legal requirements.
The diverse range of Apollo Axle Weighers are of particular interest to vehicle body builders with the forthcoming introduction of Whole Type Vehicle Approval requirements and VWS is happy to provide a free weighing audit on request.
The No 1 vehicle weighing supplier for many local authorities and private contractors in the UK, VWS design and manufacture their own load cells and weighing systems here in the UK. The ENVIROWEIGH bin weighing system from VWS is the first truly British dynamic ‘weights and measures approved’ system of its kind, and is taking the market place by storm.
Julian Glasspole, Managing Director, VWS said: “Feedback from the market place is showing our system to be the most reliable, adaptable and accurate bin-weighing system available. We’ve developed data collection, storage, transfer and manipulation solutions to suit any IT infrastructure and the system can interface with the latest software, GPS and telemetry technologies for remote monitoring.”
VWS belongs to a family of complimentary British companies known collectively as AW.co.uk specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of load cells, weighing and traffic monitoring systems.
